About MOb trio

Η μουσική των MOb περιγράφεται ως σταυροδρόμι μεταξύ της
electronic melodious jazz, kraut, filmic και exploratory post punk.
Synthesizers, effects, loops, drones και τονικές αποκλίσεις
μοιράζονται πρωταρχικό ρόλο στη δημιουργία του απαράμιλλου
ηχητικού τοπίου του τρίο.
Οι συνθέσεις του γκρουπ βασίζονται, κυρίως, σε ανοικτές φόρμες,
χρησιμοποιώντας τόσο τονικό όσο και μη τονικό γραμμικό υλικό,
ενώ ο αυτοσχεδιασμός τείνει να ισορροπεί μεταξύ της παραγωγής
μελωδικού υλικού και της δημιουργίας πολύπλευρων ηχητικών
ατμοσφαιρών.

The Athenian trio MOb, build an unforgettable soundscape
through whirling electronics and tonal deviations. Pure escapism
that comes in the form of electronic melodious jazz, kraut, filmic
and exploratory post-punk. With a heck of a lot of dance too.
Synthesizers, effects, loops, drones, frequent change of tone and
style share prominent roles in the creation of the trio’s soundscape.
The band’s compositions are, primarily, based on open forms,
utilizing both tonal and non-tonal linear material, while
improvisation parts subtly balance between the generation of
melodic material and the formation of a variety of multi-textural
sonic atmospheres.
