Born in Athens. Begun playing drums (self-taught) since 12 years old, while at the same time started learning percussion (Djembe, Congas, Bongos, Udu et al). Later she has courses on rhythmical Solfège, music technique, and Jazz improvisation at MOUSIKO ERGASTIRI KROUSTON (Musical Workshop for Percussion) of Nikos Touliatos – tuition was granted by the school.
She carries on studying via books of established drummers and via private lessons. She attends seminars from: DAVE WECKL, JOJO MAYER, STEVE SMITH, PETER ERSKIN and private lesson with CLIFF ALMOND.
In 1993 she becomes a member of AVATON performing in various high-profile concerts in Greece and internationally. Since 1998 she teaches drums and percussion at the ICHOTROPIO music school.
